Nhyira Oforiwaa Asante (she/her) is a Ghanaian-American dancer, choreographer, and model based in New York City. Originally from the Bronx, she graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.F.A. in dance from the Tisch School of the Arts and a B.A. in sociology from the College of Arts and Sciences. Her passion for movement began at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she majored in dance.

Nhyira refined her craft at institutions such as the Dance Theatre of Harlem School, The Ailey School, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, MOVE|NYC|, Ballet Hispánico, and HAMU in Prague. She has performed works by choreographers including Robert Garland, Jamar Roberts, Sidra Bell, Trisha Brown, and Bill T. Jones. Additionally, she was featured in Jacolby Satterwhite's digital installation, An Eclectic Dance to the Movement of Time, at Lincoln Center.

As a choreographer, Nhyira's work has been presented at festivals such as Battery Dance and Forza Dance. In 2022, she earned the Upsurge Dance Festival choreographic mentorship with Sidra Bell for her solo "Oheema." She has also been an associate choreographer for the Stephen Sondheim Awards and a research fellow for Sidra Bell's MODULE program. Beyond the stage, Nhyira has worked with brands and artists like Kaliii, Travis Scott, SNIPES USA, and Amika and currently serves as a Junior Mentor for the Arts Bootcamp with the New York City Department of Education and Lincoln Center Education.

KIYOMI RUBY DAVIDSON

Kiyomi Ruby Davidson (she/her) is a New York City-based dancer from Brooklyn. She recently graduated from Marymount Manhattan College, earning a B.F.A in dance. Her dance journey began at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she majored in dance, which built the foundation of her training and artistic expression.

Kiyomi honed her skills by training at institutions such as Creative Outlet Dance Theater of Brooklyn, The Ailey School, MOVE|NYC|, Ballet Hispanico, and Hubbard Street Chicago. She has performed works by renowned choreographers, including Sidra Bell, Chanel DaSilva, Dolly Sfier, Sekou McMiller, David Parsons, Karen Gayle, and Andrea Miller.

SELENA LEE

Selena Lee began her journey in Norfolk, Virginia, at The Governor's School of the Arts. She completed her high school career, having performed at the Virginia Arts Festival with the Richard Alston Dance Company and graduating with honors in Dance Arts. She completed her higher education at Marymount Manhattan College, where Selena received a BFA in Dance and a BA in Politics and Human Rights. Throughout her college career as a modern major, Selena has had the opportunity to perform works by Jenn Freeman, Netta Yerulshalmy, Katie Langan, Tito Del Saz, Darshan Bhuller, Lone Larson (The Graham Company), Davalois Fearon, and Gregory Dolbashian. She has also had the opportunity to study alongside Parsons Dance Company Member, Zoey Anderson, to learn The Envelope by David Parsons. Selena was also a 3-year Marymount Manhattan Dance Company member, directed by Katie Langan. Through her work with the company, she has worked with Chanel DaSilva, Sidra Bell, Sarah Seger (Mark Morris Dance Group), Earl Mosley, Jesse Obremski, Jamal White, Robert Mark Burke, Branndi

Lewis, and Alexandra Wells. Selena is also an alumnus of Jacob's Pillow School, Ann, and Westin Hicks Choreography Fellowship, dancing for Branndi Lewis. In all these processes, she has continued using her political research and understanding to inspire her artistic choices and endeavors. Selena has entered her professional career by assisting Tamisha A. Guy with her newly commissioned work "Breaking the Mold."

TANIAH MCKINNEY

Taniah Mckinney was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where her passion for dance began. She has been passionately pursuing dance for over a decade, with extensive training in ballet, modern, contemporary, and hip-hop. A proud graduate of Marymount Manhattan College’s Class of 2024, Taniah earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, refining her craft under the guidance of esteemed faculty and guest artists. Throughout her dance journey, Taniah has worked with renowned choreographers, including Sidra Bell, Jenn Freeman, Chanel DaSilva, Darshan Singh Bhuller, Darrel Moultrie, and Cameron McKinney. These collaborations have shaped Taniah’s artistic voice, blending technical precision with dynamic storytelling. Driven by a love for movement and connection, Taniah continues to evolve as a performer, choreographer, and creative artist, always seeking opportunities to share her passion for dance.

CAMILLE PHELPS

Camille Phelps (she/her) is an interdisciplinary dance and visual artist based in New York City. Originally from Atlanta, she began training at Dancemakers of Atlanta, performing various works by Wendell Gary, Billy Bell, Jamal White, Martha Nichols, and Cindy Salgado. Camille continued her training at SUNY Purchase, where she graduated in 2023 with her BFA in dance. During her time at Purchase, she had the opportunity to perform works by Hannah Garner (2nd Best Dance Company), Bill T. Jones, Linda and Glenn Sims, and Kyle Abraham. After graduating, Camille has been freelancing in New York City, performing with Akira Uchida, Babou Sanneh, and Jacqulyn Buglisi in her 2023 Table of Silence. She is in her second year as a member of Sidra Bell Dance New York. 

SYD WORTHY

Syd Worthy is a freelance dancer and visual artist. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and now living in NYC, Syd recently graduated from Marymount Manhattan College (Spring 2023), where she received her B.F.A in dance with a concentration in choreography. Her dance training extends from primary school to a college level of professional training, studying techniques such as Ballet, Graham, Jazz, Horton, African- Umfundalai Technique, Hip Hop, and more. Syd has also had opportunities to perform works with many professional choreographers in the larger dance world. This includes Andrea Miller-GALLIM, Sekou McMiller, Akira Uchida, Rodney Hamilton, William Isaac, Jennifer Freeman, Darshan Singh Bhuller, April Berry, and Katherine Dunham. She is super excited to explore the depths of her artistry by finding the intersections of dance, art, and spirituality.
